April:
This image requires a little explanation. This is Carmen and David. I photographed their 25th anniversary where they retook their vows in front of family and friends. I turned and caught this moment while shooting some family portraits. A perfect, quite moment celebrating 25 years of marriage. I’m sure their children will cherish this image forever. Enjoy!
August:
Sometimes I just like images of fun couples that can relax and be a little playful on their wedding day. Nothing deep or emotional, just playful. Here Wesley and Ariel are hamming it up for the camera while we wait for their car to arrive. 20 years from now their children will get a kick out of this image. Can you imaging having a photograph of your parents in a playful moment on their wedding day. Something unguarded and showing some of their true personality.
July:
Quite moments are always my favorites. Here Gina and Jason are siting in front of their guests, lost in the moment. To the casual observer its a wonderful, quite image. To Gina and Jason they are listening to a song that was written for, and dedicated to them by a dear friend. Every Time they look at this image the memories of this moment will come vividly back. If I can capture images like this at every wedding, I’ve done my job.
June:
Weddings are about family, friends and relationships. Wedding photography should be a visual story of your day, and all the fleeting moments. This image of the brides mother helping her daughter get dressed is one of my favorites of the year. By the end of the wedding day I get to know the families very well. Mom became her best friend, wedding planner in chief, and general all around rock in the face of any storm. When you look at this image you see joy and calm, after all the planning and preparations the day is here, the world disappears, nervousness fades, and the day unfolds.

May:
Some days you see an image before your eyes and by the time you get the camera to your eye the moment is gone. But, sometime you nail it. Here the grooms mother glances over at the father of the bride wiping a tear from his eye as he watches his daughter on the altar. Definitely a favorite!
